Back to school, kiddies!
I always relish the first few weeks of re-integration into the school system, replete with opportunities to be shocked and awed by what other people have named my children’s peers.
Spot the baby name travesty:
Hint: it is VERY patriotic.

I don’t see a baby named Travesty. But there is one named Ottawa.
Not nearly as bad as Ottawa, but I had a bad name moment at work today, courtesy of our own batch of new school starters. A little girl called Riley, who told me all about her little sister, SISTER, Murphy.
I think it knocks our previous ‘best bad sibset’, Brogan (g) and Leyton (b) off the podium!
This occurs everywhere…witness Terrace, BC people who name their daughter SKEENA or KALUM…very brave people.
